Tim Burton's AIW Top Hat

Tonight, I'm going to an Alice in Wonderland art show with my dad, and to get in for five bucks, you need to wear a costume.
Right now, I'm making a mini top hat version of the Mad Hatter's hat...and I shall update this post each time I finish something on it, because 1) I have no life and 2) it will be exciting. X3

Also...I have until 10:30 to make this hat [that's when acting class starts]...and I have to ride my bike to my dad's house to get supplies and possibly to CVS to get a headband....

OH!!! And I forgot to tell you all this last week...
My friend Anthony brought a hat that looked exactly like the Mad Hatter's hat from the Tim Burton movie that he made to acting class last Saturday...I had no idea he made it....I'll post the pictures I took with my phone here [I don't have the connector cable..]...anyway, it was just EPIC.

I cut out all the pieces I needed from cardboard...and painted most of them.

I finished painted the cardboard and I made tiny playing cards.

I'm about to ride over to go get my gluegun and fabric. I just made little hat pins out of paper clips.

The hat part is finished.... XD ...now I have to decorate it~

I used my gluegun for everything...and I kinda stopped using my glue gun to make bows and other junk I wear in my hair and turned to sewing them in...the end of seventh grade. I seem to have found a love for gluegunning again... >:D
Off to find a headband!!

Chapstick

I have magical chapstick.
It smells differently to each person.

It smells like salmon to me. Nom nom nom.


"This is...sorta like salmon...it smells like rosemary though..."

"How the heck is this salmon?? It's citrus!!! Citrus!"

"Your chapstick smells like salmon...what the heck...gross...get it away from me OH WOW THAT SMELLS GOOD!"

4) Multiple Personalities Day [March 5]

I'm smiling evilly and laughing maniacally right now...although I don't think that's really possible...to smile and laugh at the same time...I mean, when I think evil smile I think mouth closed smile...that's what I meant...yeh. I just tried laughing maniacally while mouth closed evil smiling. It sounds like I have a bunch of cereal in my mouth while I'm having a spazz attack.
Sorry about that shpeel.
Homework makes me go crazy sometimes.

5) Panic Day [March 9]
Omg. Panic Day. The opposing holiday to Don't Panic: It's Towel Day.
Only a few will understand that.
And only a few of that few will actually laugh at my lame attempts at humor.

Pshh. That's every day.

7) National Toast Day [March 23]
Today in drama, we had to create a cheer to audition for SNL's cheerleader sketch. Not sure what everyone else was doing...but I was really really hungry [I didn't get to eat breakfast] so we created a cheer about toast.

I love whoever created that holiday.

Besides salad fingers/flapjack...]. So, I was googling one day and I came across this website full of San X wallpapers. There's even papercrafts at the end....
Too bad I have no idea what any of it says.

Current Obsessions

I obsess a lot.

It's fun.

1) Katamari Damacy

So...I got out my old video games and Playstation 2...and I started playing Katamari Damacy, which has been my favorite video game of all time since I was in fourth grade.

It's so weird. I love weird.

So basically, you play the part of the Prince of All Cosmos and your father, the King of All Cosmos "accidentally" [it says somewhere in the game that he was drunk O_o] knocked all the stars from the sky. He blames the Prince and has him go to Earth and roll up various objects with a katamari [a sticky blob thing]...then when he has made it decent [although it's never good in the eyes of the King], the King turns it into a star.

Pretty strange.

My favorite parts are

a) the screams people make when you roll them up

b) the wackiness
c) the abnormal music [it's freaking hilarious]
d) the weird looking cousins

Yeh....It doesn't make much sense....but neither does the game~

2) Sweeney Todd

It will always be my obsession.

Always.

3) Hi Chew/Hi Chew Bows

Hi Chew is very addicting and nommmy [as my dad would say]. However, it makes my stomach hurt a lot....and feel throwy uppy....

So I have other people eat them for me.Well....not exactly....I just ask for their wrappers so I can turn them into bows because I love to wear trash on my head.

4) Bacon Salt

Pshyeah. It's real. I even have proof ^.

Not that I've ever tried bacon salt...but I love the slogan. And it's true- everything should taste like bacon.

So Friday was To Write Love on Her Arms Day.
To Write Love on Her Arms is an organization that helps people with depression, addiction, and suicide. To show your support for the people it helps, you write the word "LOVE" on your arms on this day.
Which happened to be on Friday.
February 12th.

Apparently, Sharpies aren't allowed at school. But they said nothing about gel pens!!
So I wrote "LOVE" on my arms in gel pens. :D

When people noticed I had writing on my arms, they said things like, "You shouldn't write on your arms...your blood will absorb the ink and you'll get ink poisoning. Do you want ink poisoning, Sophie?? Huh?"
Psh....self centeredness....

Oh. And my friend Chelcee said, "To Write Love on her ARMS, Sophie, ARMS!"
I had written it on my hand.

February:

Phwoop! It's February! I didn't post all of January...meh.
So February is full of awesome stuff:

1) Valentines Day [February 14th]
I usually have nothing to do on Valentines day, as Audrey calls it "Singles Awareness Day"...but I do get free candy. :D And what's better than free candy?!

2) National Snack Food Month
I didn't even know there was a national snack food month. I love February now.

3) World Nutella Day [February 5th]
Forget what I said about the snack foods. I want Nutella now....

Once, I had fake Nutella...it was some random store's brand. It was terrible...*shudder* It tasted like water and chocolate powder. Stupid cheap Nutella.
My friends Aadil, Nazleen, and Mariam often have Epic Nutella Battles via Texting. It's pretty stupid, but it sure is epic. It consists of taking pictures of various Nutella products and engaging in fake battles by texting.... :D I love my geeky friends.

4) White T-Shirt Day [February 11th]
White T-Shirts...are bland and sad....so for this holiday I believe I will color a white T-Shirt with rainbow Sharpies....I love to Sharpiefy things. :3 [I've sharpiefied my shoes, my backpack, one of my dad's shirts, which turned out to be UBER EPIC by the way....etc....]

5) Random Acts of Kindness Day [February 15th]

.......0____o; this seems like an awkward day. I thought people thought every day.

Wahah!! As you have seen, these [except Valentines Day] are not very popular holidays...but I'm gonna start celebrating them from now on.

Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland

I wanna see it.

I wanna see it really really badly.

I love Tim Burton movies.

It has Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter in it...and whenever I see those names I think SWEENEY TODD which makes me all happy and huzzah-ful.

My friend Josh showed me the trailer and said, "It's so twisted like us!!!!"

By that he meant it holds our creepiness and abnormalness. XD

Audrey is going to dress up when she goes to see it....so I'm making her a bow that reflects the movie. And I wanna make a mini top hat like the one the Mad Hatter wears.

That would be epic.

The Truth Behind Twilight

I now understand why so many people are obsessed with Twilight.
This is completely reasonable, and I don't care how much you love Twilight, just read it and you will be enlightened. Twilight makes so much more sense now.

I mean, I always knew Twilight was just a plot revolving around money and fans. But here is the science, the TRUTH, behind it.
